Delicious snow peas are one of the most obliging plants to grow from seed. Just make sure you save some of your harvest for the kitchen!

Cool to warm conditions.
Dislikes: Hot weather; root disturbance.
When to plant/sow in zone:
How to start:
Install trellis or wires to support climbing stems. Sow seeds direct, 2–3cm deep, 7–15cm apart. Water deeply then allow soil to dry out before watering again.
How to grow:
Increase watering after seed germinates.
When to harvest:
Check plants every 2 days or so. Pick when the pods are young, tender and flat.
Pests and diseases:
Birds, earwigs, slugs and snails.
