A current review of the Australian Garlic Industry

Organic Gardener Magazine contributor Penny Woodward will be one of the many experts speaking at the upcoming Garlic 2013 seminar in September.
Being held in Orange NSW on the 7th and 8th of September, the Garlic 2013 seminar is an opportunity for growers and interested people to gather and discuss topical industry issues, with a local garlic farm visist and presentations from a range of industry expert.
The program highlights include:
- Penny Woodward – key note speaker
- Tony Napier of NSW DPI – presenting current research papers on virology, bio-security, weeds and pests
- Biological Farmers Association – discussing future trends in organic farming, marketing and soil fertility
- JJ Broch – from Spain, introducing its range of garlic planting, harvesting and grading equipment
- Farm visit and equipment display
- Gilles Bonin – a medium size garlic grower with over 20 years’ experience.
