Hip hop beats and rhymes help to sell the 'go organic' message in the UK, reports PHIL DUDMAN.
British company ‘Yeo Valley Organics’ has enlisted the expertise of rap music video veteran Julien Lutz to help promote their milk products in their latest advertising campaign. Set amongst clean green pastures, surrounded by cows and tractors and fully clad in their funky farming threads, the young crew of rappers ‘tell it how it is’ down on the farm. Pronounced ‘Yo Valley’, the rap expresses the significance of natural farming, and although it’s a commercial excercise, helps to raise the awareness of organic produce in the mainstream marketplace.
