Enter the ABC Organic Gardener magazine Show Us Your Shed competition for a chance to win!

We all love sheds, at least ones we can use (that is, fill with tools and other must-have gardening things) and that have a little charm and character. We particularly like the idea of a shed where you can potter quietly, even find a chair for a cuppa – and that brings us to our Show Us Your Shed competition! Now, we’re not looking for anything complicated or grand. We just want to see a few snaps of your shed, along with a story about how it was made, what inspired it and what you use it for. Your shed can be large (maybe a converted standalone garage), but it can also be as small as an old-style telephone box! Creative use of balcony space also counts!

Send in your photos and keep an eye out for them in our next issue. To add a competitive edge, Gardena have provided stunning packs for first, second and third prize. We can’t wait to see what’s in your backyard!

Organic Gardener’s Show Us Your Shed Competition

Enter our Show Us Your Shed competition by sending in a picture/pictures of your shed both inside and out, plus a description of how it was made (250 words), including the material used, who made it (Uncle Jim, for example). Also, tell us what you love about it and what you use it for. The shed might have been bought but had lots of personal touches added. All these factors, and how it looks in the garden, will be taken into account.

1. Competition open to Australian residents only. Competition opens at midnight AEST on 31/10/24 and closes 11:59pm AEST on 29/01/25. This is a game of skill. 2. To be eligible to win you must send in pictures of your shed along with description of how it was made, including the material used, special aspects of functionality, who made it. 3.
