Tomato Santa

Get your kids into the kitchen with this fun Tomato Santa recipe from ABC Books ‘Kindy Kitchen’.
Ingredients
- 1 truss tomato with green stem attached
- 1/4 green capsicum, cut lengthways
- 1 cherry tomato
- 2 green beans, ends trimmed
- 1 small triangular piece of red capsicum
- 1 coconut flake
- shredded coconut
- 4 toothpicks*
- 1 plate
* NB: remove toothpicks before eating
Method
1. Place the truss tomato body in the middle of the green capsicum sleigh, then pin the cherry tomato head onto Santa’s body using the tomato stem or a toothpick. Transfer to a plate.
2. Pin Santa’s bean arms onto his body using two more toothpicks.
3. Pin his red capsicum hat on with a toothpick and then dab water onto the top of the truss tomato to attach his coconut flake beard.
4. Pour some shredded cocnut in front of the sleigh and push Santa through the snow.
